Newer model: the Neumann KH120 MKII, ranked higher, rated 4.7/5.

Pros: A compact studio monitor with a 5.25” composite woofer, a 1” titanium fabric dome tweeter in Neumann’s waveguide and 50W of analog amplification per driver. Neumann’s measurements hold the listening window within 1.5dB from 300Hz to 5kHz and reach 51.5Hz (-3dB), for a preference score of 5.39 that reaches 7.71 with an ideal subwoofer.

Cons: The measurements are Neumann’s own. Directivity varies more across frequency than the best monitors (3.83dB directivity index deviation). Replaced by the KH 120 II. Discontinued.

How it compares: Just above it: Genelec 8020D - $55 cheaper. Just below it: Klipsch The Fives - $51 cheaper, 60W more output power.
