Pros: A 6.5-inch Cerametallic woofer and a 1-inch titanium tweeter in Klipsch’s Tractrix horn, with 200W of amplification per side. It adds far more than the original Sevens: HDMI 2.1 eARC with Dolby Atmos decoding, Wi-Fi streaming with Google Cast, AirPlay 2, Spotify, Tidal and Qobuz Connect and Roon Ready, Dirac Live room correction, a phono stage, and RCA, USB-C, optical and coaxial inputs plus Bluetooth. Klipsch rates it at 39Hz to 25kHz.
Cons: Erin’s Audio Corner has reviewed it, but the measurements the other speakers here are ranked on aren’t available yet, so it can’t be placed against them or against the original Sevens. At about $1,900 to $2,000 a pair it costs roughly twice as much as the original.
