#91 Milwaukee M18 PACKOUT Radio 2950-20: $305.00 Amazon $305.00 Home Depot $349.00 eBay
Pros: Reviewers found it very loud with wide 360 degree coverage from ten drivers, and Pro Tool Reviews rated it 9.0 out of 10 and placed it second only to Bosch for coverage in a seven radio shootout. It charges M18 batteries while it plays, runs on AC power or an M18 battery, stacks into a Milwaukee PACKOUT tool system, and has AM/FM radio, Bluetooth range past 100 feet, an aux input, a USB charging port and a sealed storage compartment.
Cons: Its bass is nowhere near as deep as top ranked boomboxes like the Tribit Stormbox Blast and Harman Kardon Go + Play 3, which reach down to about 43 Hz and 35 Hz. At 10.4 kg it is the heaviest radio in its class, its downward firing subwoofer gives less bass than Dewalt’s ToughSystem and TSTAK radios in side by side tests, and the power knob is easy to bump. Milwaukee publishes no water resistance rating, it cannot link with other speakers, and the second generation Milwaukee M18 Bluetooth Jobsite Radio 2956-20 is lighter, IP65 rated and fuller in the bass.
