Pros: A 1.8 kg, IP67 rated speaker that floats, with a 4x6 inch oval woofer, a 1.5 inch titanium tweeter and two passive radiators, claimed at 118 dB. It is rated for more than 25 hours at average volume, charges a phone over 20W USB-C, connects to two phones at once, and adds a side flashlight, lights, a carry strap and EcoCast linking with up to 100 compatible speakers, including true stereo pairs.
Cons: Its bass is nowhere near as deep as top ranked large speakers like the JBL Xtreme 5 and Tribit Stormbox Lava, which reach down to about 43 Hz and 44 Hz. No independent sound reviews or measurements yet, so its rating is estimated from the larger EcoXGear Defender. A single woofer and tweeter means no stereo from one unit, battery life drops to about 6 hours at full volume, and it has only three EQ presets and no aux input.
