#36 Revel Ultima Studio: $10,799 per pair Discontinued eBay
Newer model: the Revel Ultima2 Studio2, ranked lower, rated 4.4/5 (also discontinued).
Pros: The original Ultima Studio: a three-way tower with a 1” aluminium front tweeter, a rear-firing ambience tweeter, a 5.25” titanium midrange and two 8” woofers, with separate level controls for each tweeter. Revel’s measurements show a very even listening window (0.19 deviation), for a preference score of 7.25 that reaches 8.15 with an ideal subwoofer.
Cons: That data comes from Revel. It is very heavy, 74kg each, and Revel replaced it with the Ultima2 Studio2. Discontinued.
How it compares: Just above it: Infinity Prelude MTS - $2799 cheaper, 3Hz higher bass extension (-3dB). Just below it: Revel Ultima Salon - $3601 more, 1Hz lower bass extension (-3dB).
