Pros: A budget two-way with two 5.25” woofers and a 1” tweeter, rated at 89dB. Audio Science Review measured low on-axis deviation (0.51) and a listening window within 2.7dB from 300Hz to 5kHz. Measured bass extension of 82.0Hz (-3dB).
Cons: The predicted in-room response is not smooth (0.42) and directivity varies across frequency (3.96dB deviation), for a preference score of 3.02. Bass rolls off at 82.0Hz (-3dB). Polk’s current Monitor line equivalent is the Monitor XT20. Discontinued.
