Pros: An Andrew Jones design that sold for only $75, with a 1” soft dome tweeter between two 4” woofers in a curved cabinet. Audio Science Review measured a smooth predicted in-room response (0.79) and a preference score of 4.51 that reaches 7.38 with an ideal subwoofer, a remarkable result for the price. Measured bass extension of 74.7Hz (-3dB).
Cons: The listening window spans 3.9dB from 300Hz to 5kHz and on-axis deviation is moderate (0.63). Bass falls to about 63Hz at -10dB. It is discontinued and found mainly used.
