Pros: The 2014 Reference generation between the KEF Reference 203 and the KEF Reference 3 Meta, a three-way floorstander with a Uni-Q midrange and tweeter, two 6.5” aluminum woofers, aluminum-skinned baffles and flexible port tubes. SoundStage named it a Recommended Reference Component for strict neutrality, high resolution and deep, extended bass.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its tonal balance and directivity can’t be compared with ranked speakers. At 51.3 kg per speaker it is heavy, and it has been replaced by the Meta version. Discontinued.
