#83 JBL Performance PT800 Discontinued eBay

Matching center: the JBL Performance PC600 (rated 4.3/5).

Pros: A sealed three-way with an 8” titanium-alloy woofer, a 4” titanium midrange and a 1” titanium tweeter in JBL’s EOS waveguide. Sensitivity is high at 91dB. Measurements show an even listening window (0.27 deviation), for a preference score of 4.64 that reaches 7.90 with an ideal subwoofer.

Cons: Bass rolls off early, 99.5Hz (-3dB), so it needs a subwoofer, which JBL sold with it. That data is low quality. Discontinued.

How it compares: Just above it: Focal Sopra N°1 - 2Hz lower bass extension (-3dB). Just below it: MTG Designs VBS-10.2 DIY.
