Pros: A large three-way center with an Airmotiv folded ribbon tweeter, two 3” midranges and two 6.5” woofers, rated at a high 92dB sensitivity. Erin’s Audio Corner measured bass to 63.0Hz (-3dB) and about 43Hz (-10dB). Measured bass extension of 63.0Hz (-3dB).
Cons: The listening window spans 5.9dB from 300Hz to 5kHz, the predicted in-room response is not smooth (0.30) and horizontal coverage is narrow (about ±20 degrees), for a preference score of 2.89 without a subwoofer. Emotiva replaced it with the Airmotiv XC2. Discontinued.
