Pros: A 3-way design with a 15-inch woofer, 8-inch midrange and 2-inch compression driver, powered by a 2000W bi-amp and rated to 143dB, so it covers a large room on its own. Manufacturer measurements give a 5.06 preference score with an ideal subwoofer, and bass reaches 82.5Hz at -3dB and about 65Hz at -10dB. Onboard FIR DSP with an LCD screen handles presets, PEQ, delay and routing, with two combo inputs. Measured bass extension of 82.5Hz (-3dB).
Cons: A 4.4dB reference band and a 7.19 directivity-index deviation mean tonal balance and off-axis consistency are uneven, and the standalone preference score is only 1.93. It is large and expensive next to the 2-way DZR15.
