#25 Meyer Sound Ultra X80 Estimated eBay
Same family: the Meyer Sound Ultra X20 (smaller model, rated 3.6/5), the Meyer Sound Ultra X22 (smaller model, rated 3.9/5), the Meyer Sound Ultra X23 (smaller model, rated 3.3/5) and the Meyer Sound Ultra X40 (smaller model, rated 3.8/5).
Pros: The largest of Meyer’s ULTRA point sources, built on the same platform as the measured Meyer Sound Ultra X40, with two 12” neodymium woofers and a 4” compression driver on a rotatable 95° x 40° waveguide. Meyer rates it at 140dB linear peak, its most powerful point source, aimed at replacing a small line array.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so it can’t be compared with ranked PA speakers. At 62.6 kg it needs rigging or a lift rather than a pole mount, and Meyer sells only through dealers, so there is no retail price.
