Pros: Scores 4.02 on its own and 7.15 with an ideal subwoofer in vendor measurements, with an even on-axis response (0.32dB average deviation) and very consistent directivity (2.69dB variation in the directivity index). The subcardioid cabinet keeps bass from spilling behind the speaker. Measured bass extension of 77.5Hz (-3dB).
Cons: Bass reaches only 77.5Hz at -3dB and about 62Hz at -10dB, so it needs subwoofers for full-range music. Its predicted in-room response is noticeably less smooth than the Fulcrum Acoustic CCX1577 (0.65 against 0.86). Passive, needs TQ processing, and sold through pro dealers with no published price.
