Pros: The square 75 degree pattern gives the smoothest predicted in-room response of the CCX15 models (0.86) and some of the most consistent directivity in the measured PA catalog (2.54dB variation). Vendor measurements score it 3.86 on its own and 7.11 with an ideal subwoofer, with a very even on-axis response (0.23dB average deviation). Measured bass extension of 85Hz (-3dB).
Cons: Bass rolls off early for a 15-inch speaker, at 85Hz (-3dB) and about 65Hz (-10dB), so plan on subwoofers. Passive, needs Fulcrum’s TQ processing presets, and sold through pro dealers with no published price.
