Pros: A low-cost passive 12-inch two-way with a 1.75-inch titanium compression driver, rated at 95dB sensitivity so a modest amplifier drives it loud, and light at 10.9kg. Parallel speakON and quarter-inch inputs let you daisy-chain a second box, and it fits a standard speaker pole. Measured bass extension of 95Hz (-3dB).
Cons: Erin’s Audio Corner’s measurements are among the weakest in this class: the listening window spans 8.5dB between 300Hz and 5kHz, the predicted in-room response is rough (0.32 smoothness), and the preference score is -1.01 (2.30 with an ideal subwoofer). Bass rolls off early, around 95Hz at -3dB, so it needs a subwoofer for music, and being passive it also needs an external amplifier. Erin’s verdict was not to buy it for home theater.
