#265 KBEAR Kalideer Apex-P6: $109.00 Amazon $109.00 eBay

Pros: A tribrid with a beryllium-plated dynamic driver, a balanced armature and a piezo driver, whose sub bass through presence stays within about 1 dB of target apart from the upper bass. Sub bass reaches fully to 20 Hz.

Cons: Upper bass is about 2.4 dB high and the 5 to 8 kHz range is about 3.9 dB low with a 5.9 dB dip near 6.5 kHz, so it sounds warm and less detailed. The EPZ Q5 Pro rates higher for less, and the score rests on a single measurement.

Is the KBEAR Kalideer Apex-P6 right for you?

Frequency Response

How the KBEAR Kalideer Apex-P6 measures across the audible range, against the Harman in-ear target that most listeners prefer in blind tests. Where the line sits above the target that range sounds louder (more bass, brighter treble), below it quieter. The curve is a single measurement, and both lines are shifted so their 500 Hz to 2 kHz average sits at 0 dB.
