HIFIMAN HE5XX - ranked #136 of 308 Over-Ear Headphones · Editor's rating 3.8/5

#136 HIFIMAN HE5XX Discontinued eBay

Pros: Measured response gives it a very good Harman preference score of 77 with a 2.38 dB spread.

Cons: Discontinued, so it is mainly found used. A 4.1 dB peak near 11.9 kHz can make cymbals and sibilance sound sharp. Sub-bass is 9 dB short at 30 Hz, so deep bass lacks rumble. Treble sits about 5.6 dB low, so it sounds a little dark.
