Pros: Superb measured tuning: the median of 5 measurements scores 91 on the Harman preference scale with a 1.59 dB spread, and everything from bass through the treble sits within about 1.5 dB of target. Its open back planar driver sounds natural and spacious, and the 25 ohm load is easy to drive.
Cons: Sub-bass falls about 4.5 dB short at 30 Hz, as is common for open backs, and a peak near 12 kHz in the measurements can add sharpness on bright tracks. At 427 g it is heavy, and its 94 dB/mW sensitivity benefits from a dedicated amp for higher volumes. See headphone amps and DACs with enough power to drive it.
