#878 Empire Ears Nemesis: $1,599 Discontinued eBay

Pros: Dual dynamic subwoofers and three armatures give a big, weighty low end in a premium shell.

Cons: Discontinued, and Empire Ears closed in 2026. A Harman score of 46, a 3.89 dB spread from the target and a warm tilt (-1.31) mean the bass and lower mids crowd the treble, which is a lot of coloration at its launch price.
