#550 Elysian Apostle: $1,799.00 Bloom Audio $1,799.00 eBay
Pros: A tribrid flagship with a dynamic driver, two balanced armatures and two electrostatic tweeters. Measurements show bass right on the Harman target and full sub-bass to 20 Hz (score 70 across three measurements).
Cons: Treble sits about 4.5 dB below target, a dark, relaxed balance. A 2.32 dB spread from the target shows peaks and dips that better tuned sets avoid. It is now sold as the Apostle 2026 with a new shell, and the measurements cover the original. Very expensive for its rating. Its score rests on three measurements.

Frequency Response
How the Elysian Apostle measures across the audible range, against the Harman in-ear target that most listeners prefer in blind tests. Where the line sits above the target that range sounds louder (more bass, brighter treble), below it quieter. The curve is the median of 3 independent measurements, so one odd sample or rig cannot skew it, and both lines are shifted so their 500 Hz to 2 kHz average sits at 0 dB.
Measurement data: median of 3 measurements from the squig.link databases of aden, eliseaudio and smirk. Thanks to each of them for publishing their work.
