#1085 EarAcoustic STA Pro Max: $79.90 HiFiGo $79.90 eBay
Pros: A dual dynamic driver earphone with sub bass reaching fully to 20 Hz and bass about 3 dB above target, giving a full low end, while the midrange stays close to the Harman target. 110 dB sensitivity and 30 ohm impedance make it easy to drive from a phone.
Cons: Upper bass sits nearly 5 dB above target, which thickens the sound, and a 7 dB peak near 8.2 kHz after a dip near 5.9 kHz makes the treble uneven and can emphasize sibilance. The EPZ Q5 Pro scores much higher for a similar price.

Frequency Response
How the EarAcoustic STA Pro Max measures across the audible range, against the Harman in-ear target that most listeners prefer in blind tests. Where the line sits above the target that range sounds louder (more bass, brighter treble), below it quieter. The curve is the median of 5 independent measurements, so one odd sample or rig cannot skew it, and both lines are shifted so their 500 Hz to 2 kHz average sits at 0 dB.
Measurement data: median of 5 measurements from the squig.link databases of audioamigo, avishai, enemyspider, koi and pw. Thanks to each of them for publishing their work.
