#288 Colorfly Lunar Roam: $394.00 Colorfly $394.00 eBay

Pros: A 1DD plus 6BA hybrid IEM at about $394 with a DLC dome dynamic driver and a preference score of 77 across two measurements. Bass and midrange stay within about 1 dB of target with full sub bass, and the cable swaps between 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm plugs.

Cons: Treble is 3.5 dB low from 5 to 8 kHz with a 7.1 dB dip near 7.1 kHz and a 4.7 dB dip near 9.7 kHz, so cymbals sound slightly subdued. Colorfly does not publish impedance or sensitivity.

Frequency Response

How the Colorfly Lunar Roam measures across the audible range, against the Harman in-ear target that most listeners prefer in blind tests. Where the line sits above the target that range sounds louder (more bass, brighter treble), below it quieter. The curve is the average of 2 independent measurements, and both lines are shifted so their 500 Hz to 2 kHz average sits at 0 dB.
