The Zealot ZE21 is the better-sounding, deeper-bass choice. The ZE21’s main attraction is unusually deep bass for a battery boombox: owner testing finds real output in the 40-50Hz region and audibility down toward the low 30s. Its bass reaches about 36Hz before falling 10dB, against 52Hz for the Soundcore Motion Boom+. It is rated for 40 hours of battery against 20 for the Soundcore Motion Boom+. The tradeoff: That deep-bass emphasis comes with a pronounced 60-110Hz kick-bass dip and over-loud 250-600Hz lower mids, which can make rock and pop sound hollow or boxy.
The Soundcore Motion Boom+ is the lighter option. 80W stereo from dual 30W woofers + dual 10W tweeters with titanium drivers for treble clarity. At 5.3 lbs (2.4 kg) it weighs much less than the Zealot ZE21 at 20.4 lbs (9.27 kg). The tradeoff: Default presets are all warm sounding with rolled off treble.
Buy the Zealot ZE21. It is rated higher for sound quality, and the Soundcore Motion Boom+ is discontinued, so it is only available used.

Its TWS button can form a stereo pair with another compatible Zealot, and its large, rugged chassis gives it credible party-speaker scale. Measured bass extension of 36Hz (-10dB).
Cons: That deep-bass emphasis comes with a pronounced 60-110Hz kick-bass dip and over-loud 250-600Hz lower mids, which can make rock and pop sound hollow or boxy. The supplied sound modes do not fully correct the tuning; the most positive independent report required source-side parametric EQ. Treble is also soft and clarity trails better-tuned rivals.

Pros: 80W stereo from dual 30W woofers + dual 10W tweeters with titanium drivers for treble clarity. 13,400mAh battery for 20 hours (12-15 at high volume). IP67 waterproof, floats, rugged build inspires confidence. Bluetooth 5.3 multipoint pairing, Soundcore app EQ, PartyCast 2.0 mode. USB-C input, USB-A output for powerbank. Measured bass extension of 52Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Default presets are all warm sounding with rolled off treble. Will need a custom EQ to get closer to neutral. A shrill sounding 6kHz peak comes out when volume is above about 60%. Not much deeper bass than a Soundcore Motion Boom and a lot less deep bass than other speakers in the class. Discontinued.
