The Zealot S95 is the better-sounding choice. An affordable stereo boombox with water resistance, a power bank output and linking for up to 100 speakers. It links with other speakers (PartyAdd up to 100 speakers), which the Demerbox DB2 cannot. It has an adjustable EQ, which the Demerbox DB2 lacks. The catch: A little rolled off up top and not that balanced through the rest of the range.
The Demerbox DB2 is the longer-running, lighter option. A nearly indestructible waterproof speaker built from a Pelican case, with a 40 hour battery and dry storage. It is rated for 40 hours of battery against 12 for the Zealot S95. At 5.4 lbs (2.47 kg) it weighs much less than the Zealot S95 at 11.3 lbs (5.11 kg). The tradeoff: Bass is not as deep as better speakers.
Buy the Zealot S95. It is rated higher for sound quality, and the Demerbox DB2 is discontinued, so it is only available used.
