Short answer: the Zealot S89. It ranks #19 of 91 boombox speakers by sound quality, rated 4.0/5, at $259.99. The XDOBO Wow Max ranks #21, rated 3.9/5, at $206.09, $53.90 cheaper, which does not close the gap in sound quality.
The Zealot S89 is the longer-running option. A 16.1 lbs (7.3 kg) boombox with a claimed 36Hz bass extension, 40-hour battery life, IPX6 protection, USB-C charging, aux, USB and microSD playback, TWS and multi-speaker PartyAdd. It is rated for 40 hours of battery against 8 for the XDOBO Wow Max. The catch: At high volume, listener reports describe the bass as loose or muddy and the overall balance as less clear than better boombox speakers.
The case for the XDOBO Wow Max: Big, loud and bass-heavy, with an eight-driver, 300W layout and bass rated down to 32Hz. The tradeoff: At low and mid volume the JBL Boombox 4 sounds better in the mids and highs; the Wow Max comes across slightly muted and bass forward there, with its midrange not aimed at ear level.
Buy the Zealot S89. It is rated higher for sound quality, and the $53.90 saving on the XDOBO Wow Max is not enough to make up the difference.

Zealot S89: $259.99 Amazon AliExpress eBay
Pros: A 7.3kg boombox with a claimed 36Hz bass extension, 40-hour battery life, IPX6 protection, USB-C charging, aux, USB and microSD playback, TWS and multi-speaker PartyAdd. Listener comparisons find it capable of very high output and substantial bass for outdoor use. A great value for its bass, battery life and maximum volume. Measured bass extension of 36Hz (-10dB).
Cons: At high volume, listener reports describe the bass as loose or muddy and the overall balance as less clear than better boombox speakers. The heavy cabinet and basic finish also make it less polished for daily portability, while its multiple EQ modes cannot substitute for a genuinely neutral tuning.

XDOBO Wow Max: $206.09 Amazon eBay
Pros: Big, loud and bass-heavy, with an eight-driver, 300W layout and bass rated down to 32Hz. In side by side tests it sounded better balanced and clearer than the Zealot ZE21, with smooth mids and punchy yet deep bass, handled high volume better than the JBL Boombox 4, which gets screechy and drops bass at max, and clearly beat the Sony ULT Field 7 and W-King X20. Two wireless microphones are included, and it charges over USB-C at up to 20V.
Cons: At low and mid volume the JBL Boombox 4 sounds better in the mids and highs; the Wow Max comes across slightly muted and bass forward there, with its midrange not aimed at ear level. About 7 kg, and only a claimed 8 hours of battery.
