Short answer: the Xdobo X8 Max, if you are buying new. The Vifa Helsinki ranks higher than it (#1 vs #83 of 115 large speakers, 4.8/5 vs 2.9/5) but is discontinued, so only consider it used; the Xdobo X8 Max is still sold new at $105.99.
The Xdobo X8 Max is the longer-running, tougher pick. A feature packed waterproof boombox with a huge battery, power bank output, and enough volume for outdoor background music. It is rated for 15 hours of battery against 8 for the Vifa Helsinki. It is rated IPX7, while the Vifa Helsinki has no water resistance. The tradeoff: The voicing is bass-heavy with thin, boosted highs that can turn harsh, and reviews report distortion rather than clean dynamics when pushed hard.
The Vifa Helsinki is the better-sounding, lighter option. A superb sounding battery powered speaker, with exceptionally clean mids and treble, now discontinued but worth buying used. At 3.1 lbs (1.4 kg) it weighs much less than the Xdobo X8 Max at 6.3 lbs (2.86 kg). It supports aptX Bluetooth, which the Xdobo X8 Max lacks. The catch: No TWS pairing, looks like a purse, requires a hacked Vifa app (Android only post #48) to enable night mode to sound good.
Buy the Xdobo X8 Max if you want one new; the Vifa Helsinki is discontinued, so only look for it used.
