Short answer: the XDOBO Wow Max. It ranks #21 of 91 boombox speakers by sound quality, rated 3.9/5, at $206.09. The Zealot S78 ranks #90, rated 2.0/5, at $159.68, $46.41 cheaper, not enough of a saving to outweigh the sound-quality gap.
The XDOBO Wow Max is the better-sounding option. Big, loud and bass-heavy, with an eight-driver, 300W layout and bass rated down to 32Hz. The catch: At low and mid volume the JBL Boombox 4 sounds better in the mids and highs; the Wow Max comes across slightly muted and bass forward there, with its midrange not aimed at ear level.
The Zealot S78 is the longer-running, lighter option. A robust 9.7 lbs (4.4 kg) party speaker with claimed 120W RMS output, IP67 protection, USB-C charging, a power-bank function, aux, USB and microSD playback, TWS pairing and multiple EQ modes. It is rated for 40 hours of battery against 8 for the XDOBO Wow Max. At 9.7 lbs (4.4 kg) it weighs noticeably less than the XDOBO Wow Max at 15.4 lbs (7 kg). Watch for: At high volume, reviews report distortion and fluctuating level, so its headline power is more useful below its maximum setting.
Buy the XDOBO Wow Max. It is rated higher for sound quality, and the $46.41 saving on the Zealot S78 is not enough to make up the difference.

The Two Speakers In Full
XDOBO Wow Max: $206.09 Amazon eBay
Pros: Big, loud and bass-heavy, with an eight-driver, 300W layout and bass rated down to 32Hz. In side by side tests it sounded better balanced and clearer than the Zealot ZE21, with smooth mids and punchy yet deep bass, handled high volume better than the JBL Boombox 4, which gets screechy and drops bass at max, and clearly beat the Sony ULT Field 7 and W-King X20. Two wireless microphones are included, and it charges over USB-C at up to 20V.
Cons: At low and mid volume the JBL Boombox 4 sounds better in the mids and highs; the Wow Max comes across slightly muted and bass forward there, with its midrange not aimed at ear level. About 7 kg, and only a claimed 8 hours of battery.

Zealot S78: $159.68 Amazon AliExpress eBay
Pros: A robust 4.4kg party speaker with claimed 120W RMS output, IP67 protection, USB-C charging, a power-bank function, aux, USB and microSD playback, TWS pairing and multiple EQ modes. Reviews find it very loud with useful bass and long claimed battery life, making it a credible choice for outdoor gatherings.
Cons: At high volume, reviews report distortion and fluctuating level, so its headline power is more useful below its maximum setting. It has no app-based EQ, and the bass and midrange refinement do not match better-established boombox speakers; assess its sound in person if tonal accuracy matters.
