Short answer: the Tribit Stormbox Blast. It ranks #2 of 91 boombox speakers by sound quality, rated 4.5/5, at $179.99; the XDOBO Wow Max ranks #21, rated 3.9/5, and costs $206.09, which makes this an easy call rather than a real tradeoff.
The Tribit Stormbox Blast is the better-sounding, longer-running pick. Amazing speaker given its size, competes well with some speakers in the Party size class, bass almost as deep as a Partybox 100. It is rated for 30 hours of battery against 8 for the XDOBO Wow Max. At 12 lbs (5.45 kg) it weighs noticeably less than the XDOBO Wow Max at 15.4 lbs (7 kg). The tradeoff: Lacks a bit of detail compared to the top ranked speakers in other size categories, dip at 5.5kHz.
Why pick the XDOBO Wow Max: Big, loud and bass-heavy, with an eight-driver, 300W layout and bass rated down to 32Hz. Watch for: At low and mid volume the JBL Boombox 4 sounds better in the mids and highs; the Wow Max comes across slightly muted and bass forward there, with its midrange not aimed at ear level.
Buy the Tribit Stormbox Blast. It is rated higher for sound quality than the XDOBO Wow Max and costs less, so it is the default pick unless a specific strength of the other one matters more to you.

The Two Speakers In Full
Tribit Stormbox Blast: $179.99 Amazon eBay
Newer model: the Tribit Stormbox Blast 2, ranked lower, rated 3.8/5.
Smaller models: the Tribit Stormbox Pro (rated 3.7/5), the Tribit Stormbox Flow (rated 3.5/5) and the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 (rated 4.5/5).
Pros: Amazing speaker given its size, competes well with some speakers in the Party size class, bass almost as deep as a Partybox 100. Quite neutral in the default and xbass modes, but try Oluv’s EQ or Alan Ross’s EQ for a slightly more neutral sound. Oluv has mentioned v3.5 now uses his EQ as the defaults and sounds extremely good. 2 different light modes or can be turned off. Measured bass extension of 43Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Lacks a bit of detail compared to the top ranked speakers in other size categories, dip at 5.5kHz. Without the above EQ this speaker would rank around #4 in the rankings. The curved underside of the handle makes it a little harder to grip and can be uncomfortable to carry long distances.

XDOBO Wow Max: $206.09 Amazon eBay
Pros: Big, loud and bass-heavy, with an eight-driver, 300W layout and bass rated down to 32Hz. In side by side tests it sounded better balanced and clearer than the Zealot ZE21, with smooth mids and punchy yet deep bass, handled high volume better than the JBL Boombox 4, which gets screechy and drops bass at max, and clearly beat the Sony ULT Field 7 and W-King X20. Two wireless microphones are included, and it charges over USB-C at up to 20V.
Cons: At low and mid volume the JBL Boombox 4 sounds better in the mids and highs; the Wow Max comes across slightly muted and bass forward there, with its midrange not aimed at ear level. About 7 kg, and only a claimed 8 hours of battery.
