Short answer: the W-King T9 Pro for output, the Tribit Stormbox Blast for detail. The T9 Pro delivers 250W peak power and 120dB sound output from dual 6.5” woofers and dual 2.5” tweeters, but it sounds warm, somewhat gritty and not as detailed as higher ranked speakers. The Blast is amazing for its size and competes with some Party class speakers, though it lacks a bit of detail and dips at 5.5kHz.
Buy the Tribit Stormbox Blast ($199.99) for a boombox speaker; the W-King T9 Pro ($171.49) suits a party speaker instead.
If battery life is a priority, the Tribit Stormbox Blast is rated for 30 hours versus 12 hours for the W-King T9 Pro.
Water resistance is not close: the Tribit Stormbox Blast is rated at IPX7 (brief submersion), well ahead of the W-King T9 Pro at no water resistance.
