Short answer: the Tribit Stormbox Blast 2 for output, the JBL Authentics 300 for smart features. The Authentics 300 integrates both Alexa and Google Assistant at once, packs a 100-watt amp and a leather-trimmed handle with around 8 hours of battery, but it sounds narrow, has peaky upper mids and no TWS or IP rating. The Blast 2 goes deep but is muddy from boosted lower and upper bass, worse with Xbass on.
The Tribit Stormbox Blast 2 earns points for: Pretty deep bass. But: it sounds quite muddy from boosted lower and upper bass, has boosted treble around 6kHz that gets even muddier with Xbass mode on, and is nowhere near as neutral or balanced as the original Blast, a big downgrade unless max volume is the only priority.

There is a real gap in water resistance: the Tribit Stormbox Blast 2 at IP67 (brief submersion) against the JBL Authentics 300, which has no water resistance.
