Short answer: the Partybox 330. These rank #11 and #1 out of 50 party-size speakers, at $807.72 and $629.95, and the cheaper of the two also sounds better - the Rockster Neo costs $177.77 more for a downgrade on both counts.
Our own notes are direct about this one. The Rockster Neo isn’t quite as good sounding overall as the Partybox 330, and its bass isn’t as deep either, despite being the larger and heavier speaker. The Partybox 330 also out-powers it on paper, 280W against 200W.
The Partybox 330 is the more feature-complete party speaker too. It has a handle, wheels, an optical TV input, lossless USB-C playback, dual mic and guitar inputs, and JBL’s app with EQ - none of which the Rockster Neo can fully match. The Rockster Neo answers with genuine XLR-level connectivity (two combo inputs plus a dedicated guitar jack) and a built-in top-mounted microphone, aimed more at plugging in real instruments than at karaoke or TV audio.
The Rockster Neo does win on runtime and dust/water resistance. 36 hours (56 in Eco Mode) against the Partybox 330’s 18, and an IP44 rating against the 330’s IPX4.
Buy the Partybox 330. It sounds better, costs less, and does more out of the box - the Rockster Neo only makes sense if its XLR inputs and longer battery specifically matter to you.
If battery life is a priority, the Teufel Rockster Neo is rated for 36 hours versus 18 hours for the JBL Partybox 330.

The Two Speakers In Full
Teufel Rockster Neo: $807.72
Pros: Similar tuning to the other Teufel speakers - pretty good, but not top of class.
Cons: Not quite as good sounding as the JBL Partybox 330 or Electro-Voice Everse 12. Bass isn’t as deep as the JBL Partybox 330 or even the JBL Partybox 130.

JBL Partybox 330: $629.95 Amazon Bhphotovideo
Pros: Handle and wheels are convenient. Customizable lightshow. Removable battery. Slightly more power than the 310 and Stage 320 (280W vs 240W). Adds an optical TV input and USB-C lossless playback, plus dual mic and guitar inputs for karaoke and live sets.
Cons: Sound quality is nearly identical to the 310 and Stage 320 despite the power bump, so probably not worth an upgrade if you already own either of those. Removed the dedicated mic gain and microphone control knobs found on the 310/320. Some people don’t like the new lightshow design. Very large. Note, JBL daisychain is not compatible with any other non-JBL speaker and is possibly a fully digital signal.
