Short answer: the Stage One if you want the most rugged, longest-running speaker of the two and the price isn’t a concern; the Rockster Neo for nearly everyone else. These rank #11 and #10 out of 50 party-size speakers, at $807.72 and $1450, with the Stage One costing $642.28 more - nearly twice as much.
The Stage One is built to run and survive longer. Its dual swappable batteries give it a 100-hour rating against the Rockster Neo’s already-long 36 (56 in Eco Mode), and it carries an IPX6 rating well beyond the Rockster Neo’s IP44. It also adds XLR output alongside XLR input for chaining into other gear, and our own notes describe its sound as very balanced, using the same high-efficiency driver approach that reaches 2-3x the volume of a typical speaker at the same wattage.
The Rockster Neo’s case is price and weight. It costs roughly half as much and is slightly lighter at 17.35 kg (38.3 lbs) against the Stage One’s 18.1 kg (39.9 lbs). Both take real microphone and instrument input over XLR, and both are built more like small PA rigs than party boxes.
Buy the Stage One if you need the most rugged, longest-running option and the price is a rounding error. Buy the Rockster Neo if you want most of the same idea - real inputs, long battery life - for close to half the cost.
If battery life is a priority, the Electrotec Stage One is rated for 100 hours versus 36 hours for the Teufel Rockster Neo.

The Two Speakers In Full
Teufel Rockster Neo: $807.72
Pros: Similar tuning to the other Teufel speakers - pretty good, but not top of class.
Cons: Not quite as good sounding as the JBL Partybox 330 or Electro-Voice Everse 12. Bass isn’t as deep as the JBL Partybox 330 or even the JBL Partybox 130.
