SVS SB-3000 vs Sigberg Audio INKOGNITO 12

Short answer: the SVS SB-3000. It ranks #15 of 212 subwoofers by sound quality, rated 4.1/5, at $1,149; the Sigberg Audio INKOGNITO 12 ranks #64, rated 3.8/5, and costs $3,456.29, so there is not much of a tradeoff to weigh.

Why pick the SVS SB-3000: A well made sealed subwoofer with tight, accurate bass and handy app controls, great for music and medium rooms. The catch: Being sealed, it gives up deep-bass output: Audioholics measured 96.6dB at 20Hz and 101.7dB at 25Hz, about 15dB behind the ported SVS PB-3000 from the same series, so a large room or reference-level movie bass may call for a second sub.

The case for the Sigberg Audio INKOGNITO 12: An ultra slim sealed 12 inch subwoofer that mounts on a wall or slides under furniture, with parametric EQ. Watch for: It is very expensive for a 250W sealed 12 inch subwoofer.

Buy the SVS SB-3000. It is rated higher for sound quality than the Sigberg Audio INKOGNITO 12 and costs less, so it is the default pick unless a specific strength of the other one matters more to you.
