Short answer: the Vifa Helsinki for midrange and treble quality, the Soundcore Motion 300 for practicality. Our notes call the Helsinki’s midrange and treble the best of any battery powered Bluetooth speaker, but it has no TWS pairing and needs a hacked Vifa app, Android only, to enable the night mode that makes it sound good. The Motion 300 has pretty deep bass for its size and a custom EQ, though its treble needs the EQ.
Buy the Soundcore Motion 300 at $79.99 if you want a medium speaker. Buy the Vifa Helsinki at $449 if you want a large speaker instead.
There is a real battery-life gap here: the Soundcore Motion 300 is rated for 13 hours, the Vifa Helsinki only 8 hours.
If water resistance matters to you, the Soundcore Motion 300 at IPX7 (brief submersion) holds up far better than the Vifa Helsinki at no water resistance.
