Short answer: the Soundboks 4. It ranks #8 of 14 battery-powered PA speakers by sound quality (rated 3.4/5) at $1,199 and is still sold new; the Soundboks 2 ranks #11 (rated 3.2/5) and is discontinued, so it is only an option used.
The Soundboks 4 is the tougher option. Tied for the loudest battery powered speaker. It is rated IP65, while the Soundboks 2 has no water resistance. It links with other speakers (TeamUp, up to 5 speakers), which the Soundboks 2 cannot. It has an adjustable EQ, which the Soundboks 2 lacks. The tradeoff: Not as neutral or as deep of bass as the above Partyboxes.
The case for the Soundboks 2: Built for maximum outdoor output: its two 10-inch woofers and silk-dome tweeter reach a claimed 124dB, while the removable battery is rated for up to 40 hours. The catch: At 33.1 lbs (15 kg) it is large to transport, lacks weather protection, app EQ and TWS stereo pairing, and relies on an external charging arrangement.
Buy the Soundboks 4. It is rated higher for sound quality and still sold new, while the Soundboks 2 is discontinued.

Soundboks 2: $449 Discontinued eBay
Newer model: the Soundboks 4, ranked higher, rated 3.4/5.
Pros: Built for maximum outdoor output: its two 10-inch woofers and silk-dome tweeter reach a claimed 124dB, while the removable battery is rated for up to 40 hours. It also provides aux, microphone and guitar inputs, making it a practical battery-powered option for loud parties and informal performances.
Cons: At 15kg it is large to transport, lacks weather protection, app EQ and TWS stereo pairing, and relies on an external charging arrangement. Its tonal balance and bass depth are less refined than stronger modern party speakers, and this discontinued model requires caution around used-battery condition and support.
