The Sony SRS-XE200 is the longer-running, tougher choice. IP67 rated with dedicated per-function buttons. It is rated for 16 hours of battery against 12 for the Sony XB23. It is rated IP67 against IPX4 for the Sony XB23. Watch for: Sounds hollow.
Buy the Sony ULT Field 1, the replacement for the discontinued Sony XB23; it is rated higher for sound quality than the Sony SRS-XE200.
