The Sony SRS-XB20 is the lighter choice. At 1.3 lbs (590 g) it weighs noticeably less than the Sony SRS-XE200 at 1.8 lbs (800 g). It keeps a wired aux input, which the Sony SRS-XE200 lacks. The tradeoff: Sounds thin at higher volumes.
The Sony SRS-XE200 is the longer-running, tougher choice. IP67 rated with dedicated per-function buttons. It is rated for 16 hours of battery against 12 for the Sony SRS-XB20. It is rated IP67 against IPX5 for the Sony SRS-XB20. It charges over USB-C rather than Micro USB. The catch: Sounds hollow.
Buy the Sony ULT Field 1, the replacement for the discontinued Sony SRS-XB20; it is rated higher for sound quality than the Sony SRS-XE200.
