Ruimatech RM-10 vs JBL Boombox 3 Wifi

Last updated: September 26, 2026

Short answer: the Ruimatech RM-10. Both are rated 3.8/5 for sound quality (#28 and #25 of 85 boombox speakers), and the Ruimatech RM-10 costs $159.99 against $389.95 for the JBL Boombox 3 Wifi, so with nothing between them on sound quality, price settles it.

Ruimatech RM-10 vs JBL Boombox 3 Wifi

In a side by side sound test the JBL Boombox 3 Wifi went deeper with a more rumbling, enveloping bass. The Ruimatech RM-10 sounded punchier and more hi-fi, with clearer vocals and preferable midrange and treble while still carrying a decent amount of deep bass.

The JBL adds Wi-Fi streaming and the JBL One app, where you can adjust its midrange, and it is a sturdier, more premium build with IP67 protection. The RM-10 has no app, but it charges phones over USB-C and supports stereo pairing.

Choose the Boombox 3 Wifi for the deepest rumble, Wi-Fi and app control. Choose the RM-10 if clarity matters more than the last bit of low bass.

Buy the Ruimatech RM-10. Both are rated the same for sound quality, and it costs $229.96 less than the JBL Boombox 3 Wifi.

If battery life is a priority, the JBL Boombox 3 Wifi is rated for 24 hours versus 14 hours for the Ruimatech RM-10.

Ruimatech RM-10 ranking card

Pros: A three-way boombox (80W woofer, two 20W midranges, two 10W tweeters and dual passive radiators, 140W RMS) with a hi-fi leaning clarity, highs that don’t get screechy at max volume, and bass that holds on at full volume. Side by side it beat the W-King X20S and X20 and sounded as good as the Tribit Stormbox Blast 2, especially at higher volume. IPX6, a claimed 14 hours, a USB-C power bank, 30W fast charging and stereo pairing.

Cons: It is tuned bass boosted, much like the JBL Boombox 3. There is no app or custom EQ and no shoulder strap, and the design is plain. The evidence is listening comparisons, not measurements.
