It measures quite flat on-axis with superb directivity and efficiency above 90dB, but vertical directivity is asymmetric, and the reviewer recommends staying between -20 and +40 degrees relative to the tweeter axis. The F208 is more forgiving of placement, though it shows directivity error and tweeter ripple at the 2.2kHz crossover. The Revel F208 is discontinued; its replacement is the Revel F228Be.
Buy the Revel F328Be. It is rated higher for sound quality; the Revel F208 is no longer sold new.
