Short answer: the JBL Partybox Club 120. It ranks #6 of 46 party speakers by sound quality, rated 4.5/5, at $349.95. The Onn XL Wireless Party Speaker ranks #11, rated 4.1/5, at $249, $100.95 cheaper, a saving that is not big enough to make up the sound-quality gap.
The Onn XL’s case is its karaoke bundle and price. Two wireless microphones ship in the box alongside dual 8-inch woofers and a 240W claimed amp, all for $249. Reviewer and owner reports describe its sound as bright and punch-forward rather than refined, with occasional distortion at high volume and some wireless-mic pairing complaints.
The Club 120 is the more polished, current JBL model. Its 5.25-inch woofers are smaller than the Onn XL’s 8-inch pair, but it adds a 5-band EQ, Auracast, a removable battery and an app, none of which the Onn XL has. Its own limitation is a 40Hz-20kHz frequency response that points to less deep-bass reach for its cabinet size. At $349.95 it costs noticeably more.
Buy the Onn XL if you want two wireless microphones included and a lower price, and can accept a brighter, less refined sound.
Buy the Club 120 for the more consistently reviewed, feature-complete JBL speaker if the price gap isn’t a dealbreaker.

The Two Speakers In Full
Onn XL Wireless Party Speaker: $249.00 Walmart $249.00 eBay
Pros: A compelling all-in-one party and karaoke package: dual 8-inch woofers, 240W claimed output, two included wireless microphones, dual mic/guitar inputs, karaoke effects and USB-A phone charging. It plays loudly enough for backyard use and has punchy bass; owners especially like the wheels, telescoping handle and colorful light effects. At 44 lb it is still a substantial cabinet, but the trolley design makes moving it far easier than carrying it.
Cons: Sound favors punch and a forward/bright top end over refinement. Independent comparisons and owner reports find the bass less deep and the overall balance less satisfying than the JBL PartyBox 320; several consider the far-cheaper Onn Large Party gen 2 the better sound-per-dollar buy. Some owners report distortion or static at high volume, and a few report wireless-mic pairing/dropout problems. Large (30 inches tall, 44 lb) and only IPX4 splash-resistant, not a speaker to leave out in rain.

JBL Partybox Club 120: $349.95 Amazon $349.95 eBay
Older models: the JBL Partybox 110 (ranked lower, rated 4.4/5) and the JBL Partybox 100 (ranked lower, rated 4.4/5). See every JBL PartyBox generation.
Same family: the JBL Partybox Stage 320 (larger model, ranked higher, rated 4.6/5) and the JBL Partybox Ultimate (larger model, rated 4.7/5).
Pros: JBL Partybox Club 120 uses 2x 5.25” woofers, 2x 2.25” tweeters. Its 10.8 kg, claimed 12 hours (Manufacturer specified) battery life, IPX4 protection, aux input and limited-stereo playback make it a practical option for its intended room or portable use. Handle and wheels, customizable lighting, and quite neutral sound with deeper bass than the JBL Partybox 100 and 110.
Cons: Its 40Hz to 20kHz (Manufacturer specified) specification points to limited deep-bass reach for the cabinet size. High price, and JBL’s wired daisy chain only works with other JBL speakers.
