Short answer: the Nubert nuVero nova 18. It ranks #77 of 226 floorstanding speakers by sound quality (rated 4.3/5); the Paradigm Persona 3F ranks #103 (rated 4.2/5).
The case for the Nubert nuVero nova 18: The four-way flagship of the nuVero nova line, with eight mid and bass drivers including four 203mm woofers, rated to 23Hz (-3dB). Watch for: No independent measurements yet, so its tonal balance and directivity can’t be compared with ranked speakers.
What the Paradigm Persona 3F does well: A three-way tower with a beryllium tweeter, a 7” Truextent beryllium midrange/bass driver and two 7” X-PAL woofers. The tradeoff: Paradigm’s data does not cover bass reliably, so it has no preference score; the rating is estimated from that data.
Buy the Nubert nuVero nova 18. It is rated higher for sound quality than the Paradigm Persona 3F.
About the ratings: neither speaker has been measured yet, so both ratings are estimated from measured siblings and predecessors (likely ranges: Nubert nuVero nova 18 4.0 to 4.6; Paradigm Persona 3F 3.8 to 4.6). Treat this verdict as provisional.
