The Minirig 4 is modular and can easily attach a subwoofer, though it calls itself splash resistant and carries no official water rating. The Boompro lists at $35.99 against $229.95 for the Minirig, but it has slightly less bass extension than higher ranked speakers.
Buy the Miatone Boompro if the price is the priority over sound quality, or the Minirig 4 if sound quality is the priority over the price.
