Short answer: the Soundcore Rave Neo 2 for the cleaner update. It is a big improvement in sound quality over the original Rave Neo, with only a slight treble rolloff against it. The Kilburn II brings a 20W Class D amp and dual 8W tweeters, but boosts upper bass, lacks detail, goes less deep and peaks in the upper mids.
Buy the Soundcore Rave Neo 2. It is rated higher for sound quality than the Marshall Kilburn II and costs less, so it is the default pick unless a specific strength of the other one matters more to you.
There is a real gap in water resistance: the Soundcore Rave Neo 2 at IPX7 (brief submersion) against the Marshall Kilburn II, which has IPX2 (light drips).
