RTINGS found the two perform similarly in the lab. Both use drivers on every side so the sound stays nearly the same from any angle, and both share the same swappable LiFePO4 battery. The Marshall Bromley 450 comes across as the more balanced of the two, with a flatter midrange, where the Marshall Bromley 750 has some midrange peaks and an overdone default bass setting.
The Bromley 750 is the one for scale. It plays quite a bit louder in its Loud mode, reaches deeper into the low bass with two 10 inch woofers, and has up-firing drivers. It also weighs about twice as much at 23.9 kg, which is why it rolls on wheels with a telescoping handle.
The Bromley 450 is 12.3 kg with a side carry handle and a slightly better IP55 rating against the 750’s IP54. Both have two XLR/6.35mm combo inputs, USB-C audio, Auracast and physical bass and treble knobs.
Buy the Marshall Bromley 450 ($649.95) for a party speaker; the Marshall Bromley 750 ($999.95) suits a large party speaker instead.

Pros: A balanced, warm sound with a flat midrange that keeps vocals and instruments clear, plenty of bass rumble and enough treble for energetic vocals, per RTINGS’ lab tests. Drivers on all four sides keep the tonal balance nearly the same from any angle, and M1M Tech Channel found it more open and airy than the Soundboks Mix and Teufel Rockster Air 2, with deeper bass than both. RTINGS measured 18.8 hours of battery from a swappable LiFePO4 pack shared with the Bromley 750, and it adds IP55 protection, two XLR/6.35mm combo inputs, USB-C audio, Auracast and physical bass and treble knobs.
Cons: It is the quietest of its rivals: both the Soundboks Mix and Teufel Rockster Air 2 play louder, and near max volume the bass recedes and the sound gets less composed. The warm tuning lacks some fine treble detail. There is no graphic EQ, only bass and treble knobs, and its stereo spreads left and right channels around the cabinet, so panned elements can land on the wrong side. At 12.3 kg it has a carry handle but no wheels.

Marshall Bromley 750: $999.95 Amazon eBay
Pros: Much wider, more consistent off-axis dispersion than the JBL Partybox 720, which only fires forward - the Marshall’s standout feature, sounding about the same from any angle.
Cons: Not as deep bass as the JBL Partybox 330 or JBL Partybox 720. Not a great frequency response overall, with some midrange peaks. Only basic bass/treble controls, no full custom EQ like the JBL Partybox 720’s app. Default bass (dynamic mode) is overdone out of the box and needs trimming.
