Short answer: the LG Xboom XG7 on balance, unless you want maximum output, though neither ranks well in its class. The XG7 delivers 24 hours of battery and ranks #88 of 97 large speakers, though it is peaky in the midrange with rolled off treble. The Soundcore Trance claims 80W with 105dB output and BassUp for body-shaking bass, but its mids and treble are hugely recessed. Both are rated below 3.0/5 among the 97 large speakers, so if sound quality matters, consider the Tribit Stormbox Lava instead, ranked #3 at $100.
Buy the LG Xboom XG7 only if you find one used in good condition; both are discontinued, and it is the better rated of the two. For a new speaker, start with the Tribit Stormbox Lava instead.
