The JBL Partybox Stage 320 is the better-sounding, longer-running choice. An excellent sounding party speaker, with deep bass that holds up at high volume, wheels, a removable battery and mic inputs. It is rated for 18 hours of battery against 10 for the Panasonic SC-TMAX10. It is rated IPX4, while the Panasonic SC-TMAX10 has no water resistance. It links with other speakers (Auracast), which the Panasonic SC-TMAX10 cannot. The catch: Slightly sibilant in the treble at full blast.
The Panasonic SC-TMAX10 is the lighter option. A party speaker with a big woofer, music synced lights, and full karaoke features including vocal cancel and dual mic jacks. At 22.5 lbs (10.2 kg) it weighs much less than the JBL Partybox Stage 320 at 36.4 lbs (16.5 kg). Watch for: Not as deep bass as others in the class.
Buy the JBL Partybox Stage 320. It is rated higher for sound quality; the Panasonic SC-TMAX10 is no longer sold new.
