Short answer: the JBL Partybox Club 120. It ranks #6 of 44 party speakers by sound quality (rated 4.5/5) at $349.95 and is still sold new; the Soundboks Go ranks #30 (rated 3.1/5) and is discontinued, so it is only an option used.
The JBL Partybox Club 120 is the better-sounding, tougher choice. Handle and wheels, customizable lighting, and quite neutral sound with deeper bass than the Partybox 100 and 110. It is rated IPX4, while the Soundboks Go has no water resistance. It has an adjustable EQ, which the Soundboks Go lacks. The catch: High price, and JBL’s wired daisy chain only works with other JBL speakers.
The Soundboks Go is the longer-running choice. Exceptional 40-hour battery life at mid-volume (10 hours at full volume), swappable design (second battery $200 available). It is rated for 40 hours of battery against 12 for the JBL Partybox Club 120. The catch: Not as loud as the other Soundboks.
Buy the JBL Partybox Club 120. It is rated higher for sound quality, and the Soundboks Go is discontinued, so it is only available used.
