The JBL Partybox 310 is the better-sounding, deeper-bass choice. Absolute deepest bass of any battery powered speaker, most balanced sound in the class, handle and wheels are convenient. Its bass reaches about 32Hz before falling 10dB, against 60Hz for the Soundcore Rave. It is rated IPX4, while the Soundcore Rave has no water resistance. It has an adjustable EQ, which the Soundcore Rave lacks.
The Soundcore Rave is the longer-running, lighter choice. 20,000mAh battery for 24-hour claimed playtime. It is rated for 24 hours of battery against 18 for the JBL Partybox 310.
