Short answer: the JBL Partybox 110. It ranks #7 of 51 party speakers by sound quality at $269.95; the Soundcore Rave 3S ranks #21 and costs $299.99, so there is little reason to consider the other one.
The case for the JBL Partybox 110: It has a very neutral sound, slightly better than the Partybox 100. The catch: its bass isn’t as deep as the Partybox 100 (though it’s just as loud and slightly deeper than the much smaller Stormbox Blast), it needs the treble bumped up one step in the app for the most neutral sound, and its JBL daisychain feature won’t work with any non-JBL speaker.
What the Soundcore Rave 3/3s gets right: It includes wireless microphones (powered by 2 AA batteries) and a remote control, plus an AI voice removal feature for karaoke. Set against that: it has some upper bass and upper mids boost, and doesn’t dig as deep in the bass as a Partybox 110/120.
Buy the JBL Partybox 110. It ranks higher for sound quality than the Soundcore Rave 3S and costs less, which settles it without a real tradeoff to make.

JBL Partybox 110: $269.95 Amazon eBay
Pros: Very neutral sound, slightly better than the Partybox 100.
Cons: Bass isn’t as deep as the Partybox 100. Just as loud and slightly deeper than a Stormbox Blast which is way smaller with better sound. Increase treble one step in the app to make it more neutral.
