Short answer: the Partybox Ultimate if budget isn’t a constraint, the Partybox 1000 if it is. Both share a 4.7 rating. The Ultimate ranks #2 of 12 large party speakers at $1699.95; the 1000 ranks #3 at $1099.95, $600 less.
Our own notes make the value case for the 1000 directly. It’s described as right up there with the Ultimate, the previous flagship in that size, and explicitly called a better value than the Ultimate, with its own nice waterfall lightshow.
The Ultimate’s edge is the absolute deepest bass of any Bluetooth speaker on this site, which is the one thing the 1000 doesn’t claim to match. Both are very large, heavy, and lack a battery or app.
Buy the Partybox 1000 for nearly the same experience at a real discount. Buy the Partybox Ultimate only if the deepest possible bass is the specific thing you’re chasing.
There is a real gap in water resistance: the JBL Partybox Ultimate at IPX4 (splashing) against the JBL Partybox 1000, which has no water resistance.

Pros: Handle and wheels are convenient. Right up there with the Partybox Ultimate, this was the previous speaker in that size. A better value than the Partybox Ultimate. Nice waterfall lightshow.

JBL Partybox Ultimate: $1,699.95 Amazon B&H Photo Video eBay
Pros: A true large-venue party speaker: its 1,100W system, dual 9-inch woofers and six-driver array produce exceptionally deep, authoritative bass and very high clean output. Independent reviews praise its unusually clear, articulate sound at extreme levels. Wi-Fi streaming, app EQ, inputs for two mics/guitar, USB playback, Auracast, a polished light show and wheels make it unusually complete for karaoke and DJ-style use.
Cons: At 39kg and more than a metre tall, this is not casually portable despite the wheels. It needs AC power, has no battery and only IPX4 splash resistance. Reviews also note that its bass-heavy presentation can obscure fine detail and overwhelm a small room; its size and cost only make sense for very large spaces or frequent events.
